File transfers between my servers keep failing

Q Files fail to transfer between my main/encoding/storage servers. What should I check?
A Start by checking the relevant log file for the actual error. Common causes reported by other site owners:
  • SELinux or iptables rules blocking traffic between servers
  • A disk quota limit on the transfer user account
  • Leftover temporary files filling up space
  • Server clocks out of sync with each other
If none of these help, open a support ticket with details from the log.
