Uploaded files stay stuck on "Pending" and never get encoded
Q
Files upload fine and queue for encoding, but they never actually finish - they just stay "Pending" forever.
A
Check that the encoding cron job is actually set up and running on your server. Try running it manually once to confirm files encode correctly when triggered - if they do, the cron schedule itself is the problem.
