Does upload.cgi work with the host HSphere ?

#1 Postby eden_ashby » Dec 28, 2007 8:11 pm

Hi, this is a message with a lot of questions

I always get, when I try ty use "upload.cgi", the internal error 500.

When i try to use upload_form.htm, there's an error like "max_upload_files not defined" and when I submit the form it's "ext_allowed not defined".

So like you suggested in another topic, i tried upload.cgi?mode=settings and the internal error 500 appeared, even tough I chmoded everything and the action of the form (who point at upload.cgi). I took a look at the most usual error fixing page and I didn't find the answer to solve all my problems.

So I came to the conclusion that maybe Hsphere has a problem with your application. Is this possible ? Does that the first time that someone come to you with this conclusion ?

So, I hope for a favorable reply from you.

Thanks a lot

Read this first: http://www.sibsoft.net/forum/read-this- ... k-t84.html

Do you have any other Perl scripts working on that server?
Have you chmoded them 755? Did you use binary FTP mode to upload?

http://www.securite.ashbytech.com/cgi-b ... e=settings gives 500 error. Maybe try to rename .cgi to .pl?

Contact me in ICQ or AIM or PM via this forum if you need support. I do know nothing about HSphere.
