Is it possible to have download resume without allowing direct linking?
When I allow direct linking (to allow download resume) I am not able to put a limit on the download speed.
Is there a reason why both cannot be selected together? I really want both
XFileSharing Pro - download resume / accelerator

How we can limit speed with nginx? i have nginx on all file servers and i have enabled direct links for all users, but i want to set lower download speeds for guests and registred members and unlimited speed for premium only
Thanks

to do that you need to use the file called dl.cgi
ngix can limit download speed (limit per conection) but that count for every1
the thing you can do (that would be a temorary solution) is offer full speed for premium files only
so put them on a differend server (premium only) and for the other files limit the speed
as there comes a new release (hopely soon :d) then i hope he will implent this idea
not sure if i posted it before (i guess so )
if you have 2 servers , 1 for premium and 1 normal
as soon a premium member clicks a link , that it copy the file from the normal server to the premium server to allow full speed
then that system i described above will works perfect
anyway , this is so far hte only way to limit direct links
or just dont allow direct links for non premium members and everything would be fine

Ummm, Actually within NGINX you can set Free, Registered, and Premium speeds. I use NGINX and that's how I have it.
