100TB.com users..PLEASE HELP

#1 Postby hecolivares » Aug 15, 2011 12:09 am

Ok.. so I´m starting off with 100TB´s Ember Dedicated Server.

Cause I´m used to working with Cpanel I added that on.

I installed XFS Pro 1.9 with no problem at all. Everything worked imediatly. I configured 1 server with 800GB of space.

All was working well till Cpanel started sending me mails that a partition was filling up with only 20 gb!!! 99% full already.

The thing is I never created partitions. All I want is one partition with all the space available.

Then I realized that I have 2 500GB HDD witch are not linked!

I really just want to provide a smooth service by gradually adding more Disk space as needed.

So now I have a bunch of files uploaded witch I really don´t want to lose.

Can anyone guide me on what I need to do???

I will grant FTP access if anyone needs it.

Extra Info I don´t understand:

root@host [~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda5 20G 19G 205M 99% /
/dev/sda8 376G 195M 356G 1% /data
/dev/sda6 9.7G 154M 9.1G 2% /tmp
/dev/sda3 20G 451M 18G 3% /var
/dev/sda2 20G 4.2G 15G 23% /usr
/dev/sda1 99M 18M 76M 19% /boot
tmpfs 4.0G 0 4.0G 0% /dev/shm
root@host [~]#

My site is http://www.chileuploads.cl

In return for the help I will upload my Spanish language translation cause the default one is incomprehensible.

Thanks.

add your second hard disk as file server. Readme has information how to add file servers.

consider mounting your second disk.(hint: fdisk -l , mkdir /data2 mount /dev/sda1234(whatever your second disc is), add the mount to /etc/fstab, make 2 (sub)domains in cpanel (one with docroot /data and one /data2))

If you don't understand my hint, hire someone to do it.
