Hi
I am looking to close my website due to heavy costs and low profits compared to cost from file servers and affiliates, I really need an advice because there is huge traffic and its sad to loose it.
Close website? change the website to take advantage of traffic?
Any advices are welcome.
XFileSharing Pro - Advice
Not surprising, many sites are closed already, check the sites using xfilesharing pro thread, like 99% of them are closed.
I may be able to take it off your hands, please email me the details

Profits are equal to costs pretty much, just needs someone experienced to really take advantage of the very large traffic to make it more premium upgrades...etc.
Or I was thinking to switch it to some other business just to capture the traffic... my email is: [email protected]
Any advices would be helpful to me.
Thanks

I think I know what site you are talking about. I will write about some advice for you.
Site profit/expense is about the same, it will be hard to get much money with it selling based on these additional points:
(1) Expense is high over $1000, very risky to risk that much money every month for $0 profit.
(2) Over 80% of revenue from AdSense, very risky since there are so many adult and illegal files being shared. They can cut you off anytime and since it is net30, if they cut you off, you can lose as much as nearly 2 months revenue.
(3) You have obligation to provide the premium users with what they bought like 1 year premium account.
(4) As for how valuable the registered users are:
a. Pay for download to bring in traffic, you stop paying, the site dies (low value)
b. You have email of the users interested in making money via file downloads but those emails are not valuable as any new site promising high payouts can acquire those users (low value)
You should decide if it is viable to keep it open, close it, or sell it. Keep in mind by keep it open, you are risking over $1000 every month to earn nothing. Best advice is sell it but whoever is new owner also have to risk over $1000 every month to earn nothing.
Most sites using adsense eventually get kick out, you can verify by checking the longest running sites.
Hope this helps.

google sucks i daily clean olmost from porn uploads just the day i didnt removed it yet they check the site an banned me. but they never bann them self like youtube always copyright things. till now no answer if you get google adsense bann you will miss a lots off income. use popup ads to get more income dont now your site but give it a try with xtendmedia. or if you got lots of traffic germany try binlayer.com
Powerchaos, go for advertisers that use cost per action or cpm to avoid clickfraude kicks
for example;
cpxinteractive
xtendmedia
reduxmedia
underdogmedia
be sure to check the ads once in a while yourself if you go with those `less good ad networks` as they are not exactly suitable for all audiences or could contain exploits
I myself have been running cpx on a copyright infringing website for 3 years and they always paid.
Also, run more than one network at a time
for example;
cpxinteractive
