Hello,
I tried installing xfileshare pro and ended with the following error. i get this error while adding server.
File Server tests:
api.cgi: OK
temp dir exist: OK
temp dir mkdir: OK
temp dir rmdir: OK
upload dir exist: OK
upload dir mkdir: OK
upload dir rmdir: OK
htdocs dir exist: OK
htdocs dir mkdir: OK
htdocs dir symlink: OK
htdocs dir symlink del: OK
htdocs dir rmdir: OK
config read: OK
config write: OK
fs.cgi: OK
upload.cgi: ERROR (problem with link)
upload_status.cgi: OK
htdocs URL accessibility: OK
And when i click that link i get 500 error internal server error.
What should i do? also i want to add another server to the current one. What are the steps for adding them.

I changed the chmode settings of file folder to 755ezyfile wrote:try change perms on file to 755

did you check the .htaccess file in there as well? (on linux server?)
Make sure your new accounts's perl is setup
It almost sounds like the config might be off a slight bit as well...
Later today, I will try to set up 2 more servers just to experiement. I will see what happens with mine.
I dont know anything about this really, but having many websites (that are not filesharing or perl) these are some of the more common scenerios I run into.
This is the first perl I have ran...

Make sure your new accounts's perl is setup
It almost sounds like the config might be off a slight bit as well...

Thanks for the information. I sent a mail to the techincal support team regarding this error and they fixed this up. The problem was in the upload.cgi file. well its now sorted out.thefilebus wrote:did you check the .htaccess file in there as well? (on linux server?)
