If anyone has an idea how to protect the administrator account? Maybe the htaccess?

.htaccess won't help here. Use username different from 'admin','root' and use some random long password.

Can also add:

- A good antivirus program.
- Dont save your password in plain text.
- Use etc Lastpass.com as your password manager.
- Use https when logging in on your site.
- Use 14+ long password, and change it every month.
- Dont login on unsecure computers.
etc...

use a non alphanumerical character in your password, &#$ for example.
if you have something like !~{*hellothisisapassword*}~! noone is ever going to crack it
