We upgraded our server to a faster one. So we had to move the main server to a new server.
We updated the server IP in XFSConfig.pm to the new IP address. Re-installed all the required modules.
We can see the homepage but we are unable to login. In the error logs i only see

I realized i forgot to install fastCGi
Could that be the reason I am unable to login? Can't login with admin or a user account. I get no error just the page refreshes and i am back in the login page.
Is there docs on how to install fastCGI?
I can't figure out why I can't login.

I bought fast-cgi mod and had sibsoft install it.
Where did they install it? in the server or the script?
My site is not busy because its a new website. I didn't need fast-cgi. I bought it because i thought maybe in the future my site becomes busy then i wont have to contact sibsoft to install it.
So i didn't notice a difference because i only have a total of 10 users using my site and maybe only 1 or 2 users at the same time.
My site is working now. The problem was the .htaccess file. I fixed the htaccess file and now my website is working good again.
if you move the website to a new server do you need to re-configure fastcgi on the server? or is fast-cgi installed inside the xfilsharing script?
because now my website is working so should i contact them in re-install fast-cgi?or is the fast-cgi installed already?

I looked in the admin settings and there is a section that tells you if fastcgi is running or not
I guess you need to re-install fastcgi when you move hosts as my site says its not running anymore
i will have to contact them to re-install it but it's not a priority since my website is running fine without it.

Yes. We still have access to the root server using recovery mode.

Contact Sibsoft and ask them to reinstall for you.

The website is maybe 2 years old. It doesn't have many active users. Maybe 10
It's not easy to make it popular. You need to have lots of money and lots of storage and most important a team to keep it working.
We can't afford to hire a team.
I will contact sibsoft to re-install it in the future. For now it's not priority since i would have to pay again to re-install it.
Maybe if it gets busy i will get fast-cgi re-installed by sibsoft but for now the website is working great without fast-cgi.
The mod is not necessary if you don't have many users. Sibsoft wrote that in the description that it's only needed if you have many users.
It might be useful in the future if we get busier. We use xfilesharing to host pictures on our blog and not so much to let users upload unlimited files.
