I dont have any migrate experince about this situation but i know XFileSharing DB and File System. XFS (XFileSharing) use simple system. If Yeti dont use some specaial encyprtion on DB, this is not a dificult job for a PHP programer.

Basic senario:
- Remote Upload all files from your yetishare system to new XFS system.
- Convert yetishare user data to XFS user data system. In this section all XFS users need password reset. Because i think yetishare use MD5 like password storage on DB, but XFS use different one.
- Change on XFS DB file ownership with compare Yeti DB. In this case maybe same name and same size files can make some confusions, but it must a rare issue.

My question, why you want to migrate XFS? Its a good review for, who need to select a new File hosting script between XFS and yetishare.

I will describe with simple words as I have in both experience more then year already.

1) XFS works 100% out of the box in that offer and anyone can see that here: https://sibsoft.net/xfilesharing.html

2) Yetishare.. Nightmare, It's full of bugs.. Support It's like spoiled children..

Only trouble you going to get with yetishare nothing else I have to say...

Is the migration finished? How did it go? At one point I was thinking of using Yeti for a new small site - I have had my XFS site for more than 2 years with no complaints.

All was perfect, XFS Team support help me to run my site again without bugs and problems that previously had on Yetishare.

Thanks again.

Just an update - we can migrate from any Yetishare version to latest XFilesharing Pro quite easily. Can keep users, balances, file names, etc.

Migrate from Yetishare v4 0 1

There is no MariaDB 5.6, it is only MariaDB 5.5 and 10.0. MariaDB 10.0 is the equal to MySQL 5.6

My question is if it is needed to dump and re-import all databases if you migrate from MySQL 5.6 to MariaDB 10.0?
