I do not really understand what it means
When I open the select box, I can only select one file

Is it possible to select all files contained in my local directory at the same time for example ?

You can select any number of files. One-by-one. Just set max number of files in your config.
You can't select a bunch with one mouse drag like you do in windows explorer. It's browser limitation.
