I currently have 100Mbps port speed with no limitations. now before moving to dedicated server, i was able to upload at 6000-8000kpbs.

now currently i am running Apache. I am running speed of only 400kpbs now, maximum it goes upto 500kpbs. in both remote and local upload.

I checked with different networks as well, but no difference.

Before moving my upload speed was much faster and my streaming as well now the video buffers a tad at the beginning why?

Can you explain why he should have hardware issues??

It's obvious he have routing or problem with bandwidht.

I'm not agree, I'm facing this same kind of problem at this moment, I don't have any IO issues, all my servers have 128GB RAM and I have a huge bandwidth .

Have you got nginx installed ? How many users download in peak hours ?

You also must check the MS.
If you're from India and got server in USA, you will face this problem.

Hi all.

I have server in USA. And.a week ago I was in VPS but as load gone higher I purchased Dedicated.

Now I have 100 mbps port I am usually getting 10k to 12k a day.

My previous problems was

Apache keep restarting every 10-15 mins.


When I was in vps all was working good. Speed was nice as well

Also my host have reinstalled everything for me, so there is no hardware issues.

And we have checked server-server transfer which is a best.

Because I remember to off iptable, firewall, but no luck in speed.

and my host is currently installing so, as soon as it's up I will post here.

Can you recommended setting for apache.

The root of your problem is obvious. You have 100mbps port. This is not enough for normal file hosting. You need 1gbps port. I can also bet you any money that 100mbps connection is shared with other servers ( clients).

I understand i need higher port.

Port is not shared.

But i also know that it should not be as low as

75Kpbs for download
400Kpbs for upload.
