XFileSharing Pro - HTTPS protocol mod. What does it do?

What does this HTTPS mod do?
Is this mod only for a purchase of a certificate?

I can't find any settings inside the Admin Settings for HTTPS

In the information it says " This mod enables HTTPS secure protocol for your site and file servers. "

Then it says "We will provide wildcard certificate for your domain and subdomains"

If i have my own certificate then I don't need it right?

or do you still need it EVEN if you have your own certificate from let's encrypt or cpanel?

i am confused

There's no need in this mod if you already have your own certificate installed.
