I personally think this catalogue feature should have an ON or OFF button in the settings as I am not sure I want to advertise all the files hosted on my file hosting service...
It can create several issues I find. How to disable it?
What do people think about this feature?

Its so simply to disable this feature, just go to settings and you will find it..
Public Catalogue is the option that you are looking for.
p.s My personal opinion is that this feature is not useful for a filehosting, because it reveals all the files which are on your server and i am pretty sure that they will not be legal..so which is the reason..to create extra problems to yourself
