Pre sales Query

#1 Postby nspzone » Apr 24, 2014 5:14 am

Hi Admin,

I am looking for the optimal server requirement for the image sharing script. Since there is no thread available for this particular script about server requirement, please help.

I am new to VPS and want to revamp my present image hosting site with Ximagesharing.

Also please mention any host vendor for both main site and file server and their optimal requirement.

Since images don't generate much traffic you can use cheap server with average bandwidth and low CPU/RAM.
For a start I recommend 300-1000GB HDD (128-256GB SSD will be the best), 2-8GB RAM, 100mbit network unmetered (or at least 5 TB monthly).
Such server would cost less than $100 per month.
You can check FDCServers, Leaseweb, OVH.

I am planning to start with a low budget plan.

Can we consider Digital Ocean with cloud hosting in 512 MB / 1 CPU 20 GB SSD Disk 1000 GB Transfer.

They are very fast.

Also Can I add file servers at later stage?

You can add multiple server later at any time, yes. We will provide installation package for this.

It does not require php to be installed.
