Problem with uploading and downloading

#1 Postby HeRoKaNe » Dec 23, 2012 7:39 pm

Hi there,

I have been facing a very serious problem with my file host lately.
I can't upload or download any files because of an error I don't understnd.

Every time I try to upload a file,I get an empty box with no generated links.
Every time I try to download a file,I got an error

Error happened when generating Download Link.
Please try again or Contact administrator.
(Can't connect to medlefire.com:80 (Bad hostname) LWP::Protocol::http::Socket: Bad hostname 'medlefire.com' at /usr/local/share/perl5/LWP/Protocol/http.pm line 51. )

I hope any one here can help me. Also if any one can himself solve this problem, I can give him my server details to do it manually because I am trying to solve this problem for almost a week without any progress and I am really tired of this.

Thnks in advance.

look like dns issues
define your dns on all your fileservers and main server manually, edit /etc/hosts on each
123.456.789.910 yourmainwebsite.com
918.282.292.102 server1.yourmainwebsite.com

Thanks, nyan.
After making these changes, another problem came up.

When updating fileservers, I got this message

File Server tests:
api.cgi: OK
ERROR: fs_key is wrong or not empty
upload.cgi: OK
htdocs URL accessibility: OK

When tryng to download, the generated link appears like this :

http://medlefire.com/files/0:ERROR: fs_key is wrong or not empty/Super_Mario_Smash_BrosV1.3.exe

Any ideas?

Fix your fs_keys in the db and fileservers config (etc make them the same).
