Files not uploading...

#1 Postby Polaris » Oct 14, 2007 9:35 pm

It appears to work OK except that...

- There is no link on the confirmation page to the uploaded file.
- db.txt is empty.
- The upload folder is empty.
- The log file claims that the upload was successful.

The server error log says:-

[Mon Oct 15 00:02:00 2007] [error] [client 82.xx.xx.xx] (104)Connection reset by peer: ap_content_length_filter: apr_bucket_read() failed, referer: http://www.amazingholly.co.uk/htdocs/

Any ideas?

Probably your server doesn't allow to run script like this
...as mine at r4pid.com

I'm looking for running solution
traffic 500GB and 250GB storage but only dedicated servers for huge money do that

It's my own server, so I can configure it any way I like. I googled for the error message and it appears to have something to do with HTML pages POSTing to CGI.

On some servers, there could be strange CGI.pm version which do not let upload working normally. In such cases, we just put our own CGI module in cgi-bin. We can do that for you, just send FTP connection info to support.

Thanks

Thank you. I contacted support and they were able to sort my problem out. I'm very pleased with this software.
