Hello Everyone!
There's one more thing we would like to introduce for your attention - XFilesharing Pro Monitoring.
Now you can keep track on your xfilesharing site health with instant email (and sms in near future) notifications if something will go wrong (CPU, Disk, I/O, etc).
Go and try it: http://stats.sibsoft.net
As usual, your ideas are appreciated (via ticket system).
Thanks
Sibsoft Team

The script looks very interesting and also the theme is much more professional than what I would expect from sibsoft (which didn't care much for the theme in the past).
But: I wonder why this module is outsourced to your server? I don't like to disclose so much information with "others"...
Is there an option that this functionality will be available for a local installation? I understand that monitoring of your main site would be impossible when you run it on the same machine, but still a VPS dedicated for this script makes more sense for me than transfering all of these informations to a third party.

Well, there's no such option yet and we have no plans to make it downloadable for public. The idea is to run it as a service which will help you to keep an eye on your site health. We have sms notifications and mobile version in our plans if everything will go well. And of course we're going to add SSL protection.
It's checking once in 5 minutes. It's just calling atop and couple mysql queries (on main server only) - that shouldn't cause server overload.nomad wrote:Great piece of software but I was wondering how often does it check for stats update? and how much resources does your script use to gather all these info??
