Updating from 1.5 to 1.6 (But only backend)

I wanna upgrade to 1.6 (from 1.5), but I dont want to redo my whole template files again. Can I just upload the cgi files and admin backend to upgrade to next version? Will it work correctly?

Yes I did that, however you'll have to look at how the new language selector works. Copy the CSS code (for the drop down selector) from the new main.css to your one.

I took you all the language support and left only english. So will this effect me?
