XFileSharing Pro - traffic from main or fileserver

Hello,
if i have a main and fileserver. The files located on fileserver. If I download a file from fileserver, where the traffic are loaded, on main or fileserver? because althoug have files on fileserver, I have traffic on main only...

If your file and main servers are on separate physical servers - then you should have traffic only on your file server, not main.

I had this question a few days ago with our datacenter.

admin if I upload lets say 1gb file to main server but only have file server will the 1gb counted as outgoing traffic to uplink???

because the file will be uploaded with main server put by main server on file server?

Im afraid to get overcharged because I want to change from flat 100mb to metered 1gb line.

Please let me know
