Communimail updated to version 1.3

Hello everyone,

Pleased to inform you that Communimail updated to version 1.3. We gone through all your feature requests and bug reports and came up with following new features:

- removed CSV database type
- fixed bug with not saving email template in Send Request edit screen
- a lot of minor bugs were fixed
! added custom contact fields (you can add new fields now)
! added image upload for inclusion into email template
! added SMTP method of mail sending (auth is supported as well)
+ added WYSIWYG for sign up form construction
+ revised Settings page
+ user can be redirected to specific page (URL specified while constructing signup form)
+ added ability to edit mail confirmation and added WYSWYG there
+ revised reports and made them more usable

Excellent. Are there any tricks to updating to version 1.3?

When you will get 1.3 - take a look at INSTALL.txt, you will find instructions there.

Basic steps:

1) Upload new files except configs
2) Run upgrade script (it will update database)
3) Remove /cgi-bin/clibs folder

If you will have any problems upgrading - we would happy to help you if you will provide FTP access.

How do users of ver 1.2 download ver 1.3? Do we need to buy a copy at full price, reduced price or can we upgrade fpr free?

Now we upgrading for free. You just need to email us your order number for 1.2 purchase and we will send you 1.3.

Very easy upgrade. I was dreading it but it was so easy.

One problem with the new feature of custom fields. When I add a new field to the signup form it does not show in the contacts list even though it shows up in the edit contact form. Manually editing the template does not solve the problem either.
