Hello,
I just had a few feature request for version 1.7 before you release it. Please let me know if you can add any of the following.
Everyone else is welcome to post their own feature request in this thread.
1. The option to disable website registration.
2. The option to enable/disable file extensions based on packages instead of globally.
3. The option to expire files based on packages.
4. The option to set the day & how many uses a coupon code is good for.
5. The option to view the most download files.
6. Add the option to leech files from >> http://www.storage.to. They are pretty well known.
7. The option for multi admins, permission based.

FTP upload mod will be nice.
copied from a file hosting site

Uploading to FTP server using FTP software is simple and easy. Using FTP transfer you can upload files up to 1GB in size.
The advantage of file upload via FTP is that you can upload an unlimited number of files and folders, without having to manually select particular files. Uploading via FTP to our FTP server is also usually more reliable than uploading via a web page.

I would like the nginx mod to be a part of the install files, so its easier to update versions in the future.. from what i understand there is different version of the nginx solution. Atleast there is a difference between what i got and my friend just got.
So include the nginx in the install files, so we dont have to ask for help every time there is a update.
And try to make a standard solution on the nginx, because its very needed in the future.
I would like to know what files that not to be touched under an upgrade from 1.6 to 1.7 with a nginx mod installed
And is there any modifyed files on the fileserver part?

i woulnd use a ftp mod (no offence)
but using ftp for clients is a big security risk
thats 1 way to trash your complete server
because they got acces to places you dont want them to acces
and why should you do that ??
cgi got the nice option to be unlimited , even with big files
it just dont time out (unlike php)
the point of limitation is that you got a option of max upload and not to upload 1000 files at a single time because i want to transfer my 30GB music to my site
so for me it sounds useless
but email to host is more fun
so send a email to a certain adress with a file atached and you get it on your name nice uploaded
that would be nice
and more fun (email atachments are limited to ^^)
and if it send then a email back with the download link in it ^^

i dit hosted a site where you could use ftp from your browser (browser based) and it gave mutch trouble with security (they could acces my root from it )
but for the rest i basicly know nothing of linux :s only windows
but i know from game servers and cpanel that the user i created with it got root acces to on my remote server when it was suposed to have limited acces
and that i got on a server where i am a reseller , that i can acces the root to (with ssh then)
but it is posseble that that are just a few security holes i founded
or that they forgot to secure it
thats why i dont like ftp so mutch
